Alfred has since released his debut EP in January 2016, and it is well received by the public and media alike. Joining him on stage is his wife, singer-songwriter, Tay Kewei. Kewei used to be the supporting singer of superstars David Tao, A-mei, Wang Lee Hom and our country’s very own JJ Lin. She was nicknamed the “angel of harmony” and she plays several instruments such as the guitar, ukulele and piano, but catches most attention by playing the er-hu.

mandy-ke

A graduate from Temasek Polytechnic’s Digital Film and Television, Mandy is equally motivated to share her stories through the songs she composes. Citing fellow local singer-songwriter Tanya Chua as one of her key music influences, Mandy strives to write songs that can relate to everyone and at the same time, translates her own thoughts into appealing and memorable tunes.

neko-highway

Neko Highway is a Mandarin Originals band formed in 2015 by Kaye (lead vocals), Sandy (keyboards), Claire (bass) and Glenn (drums). Neko Highway’s members have known each other for a while but it was only recently that they decided to form a band to write and perform Mandarin originals that were different from the generic style of Mandarin songs that are most commonly heard today. The band’s songwriting influences include artists such as Tanya Chua, Li Rong Hao and Bai An. With songs incorporating exciting genres like funk and rock, to slow and relaxing melodies to chill the mood, you’ll never know what comes next with them on stage!

nicappella

Widely known as the first runner-up on the Chinese reality TV singing competition, The Sing-Off China, MICappella is a Singapore vocal band with a contagious energy, bringing a professional, passionate and edgy spin to ACappella performances around the world. The band made history on the 2013 Singapore Hit Awards becoming the first-evervocal band to be nominated for 4 awards where they received the prestigious <Media Recommendation Award for Best Local Artiste>. They were also awarded the  award from the 2013 ACappella Community Awards (ACAs), based in USA. With their unique blend of English and Mandarin pop, rock, dance and ballads, MICappella never fails to leave their audiences yearning for more.

little-fellas

Little Fellas is a 6-piece Mando-Pop Rock Band based in Singapore. Crafting crowd chanting melodies and catchy beats, Little Fellas aim to inspire and relate to the Singaporean Life with their eclectic mix of Chinese and Western music influences in their songs. The band released 2 singles, OK and Love Triangle last year.

da-feng-chui

The band first got together as 大风吹 for the “Superband2008” auditions held in April 2008. Before the auditions, they assumed different roles at Lee Wei Song School of Music – staff, teacher or student. Since they were familiar with each other, they decided to take part when their lead singer, Chen Liang, approached them to join the competition. Albeit the distinct ups and downs during the competition, it was an experience of a lifetime. It was through the challenges they faced that they bonded as a band. As they continue to move forward as a band – writing and producing their own music – they believe that more 大风吹 success stories will follow.
